Summer is finally here and we hope you have a super 4th of July holiday! We plan on just relaxing and watching the fireworks. Salty Floof is so old her hearing isn't all that great, so she probably won't care.

DID TWO relatively UNKNOW ROMAN EMPERORS _CREATE_ CHRISTIANITY... INVENT JESUS CHRIST as a means to DETER jewish SUICIDE BOMBERS FROM ATTACKING ROMAN LEGIONS, and to provide a MORE restrained, "TURN THE OTHER CHEEK" god sympathetic to Rome and to the Roman Empire?
One thing is known for sure: The SPEECHES of JULIUS CAESAR who conquered Gaul and who became sole dictator of the Roman empire WERE WELL KNOWN and PUBLISHED by both his friends AND ENMIES in his lifetime.... OVER 100 years BEFORE Christ.
And Likewise the SPEECHES and battles of ALEXANDER THE GREAT were WELL KNOWN by his friends AND ENEMIES from 300 years before Christ.... but NOTHING in the historical record IS MENTIONED ANYWHERE about a Jesus of Nazareth entering Jerusalem to wild acclaim... although both Romans AND JEWS in nearby Alexandria, Egypt WERE ALWAYS ATTUNED to what was happening in Jerusalem...
If so, this would be one of the greatest ironies in all human ...
