Wait Well

Father, we come before You today. Thank You for the strong promise in Psalm 91. We lift up everyone who is seeking to dwell in Your secret place, those who have walked in obedience for years, those who are tired from waiting, and those faithfully tending the gardens You have given them.
Cover them with Your feathers. Be their refuge and fortress. Deliver them from every trap of the enemy and from every harmful thing. Let no evil come upon them, and let no plague come near their homes. Command Your angels to guard them in all their ways, to hold them up so they do not stumble over a stone.
Lord, make them strong in their callings, men who carefully tend the gardens You assigned to them, and women who stand as true helpmeets and snake killers, treading upon the lion and adder, trampling the dragon under their feet.
For families that are divided, for hearts whose faith has been weakened by past pain, and for every person trying not to cause others to stumble over personal freedoms or choices.

We ask for Your protection, deliverance, and honor.

Because they have set their love on You, deliver them. Set them on high because they know Your name. Be with them in every trouble. Satisfy them with long life and show them Your salvation.

May Your perfect will be done, nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.

We surrender every outcome to You, trusting that You are enough.
