Wait Well
Heavenly Father,
We come before You first with praise and worship, not because of what we see, but because of who You are.
You are the Great Physician, the Healer of body, soul, and spirit.
You are sovereign, compassionate, all-powerful, and full of mercy.
You are the God who sees every hidden struggle, every sleepless night, every quiet tear.
You are worthy of worship even in the middle of pain, because Your character never changes.
Lord, we lift up every person suffering with health issues right now — those battling chronic illness, sudden diagnoses, ongoing pain, weakness, or uncertainty.
Touch their bodies according to Your perfect will.
Bring relief, restoration, and strength.
We ask for sudden and immediate breakthroughs, the kind that only You can do, where healing comes swiftly and unmistakably.
While we wait, help us to wait well.
Guard our hearts from bitterness or despair.
Let our mouths speak praise even before we see the answer.
May our words reflect trust in You rather than fear or complaint.
Teach us to worship from the residue of a heart that believes You are good, no matter the circumstances.
Give grace to caregivers, wisdom to doctors, and supernatural peace to every heart that feels overwhelmed.
Let this season produce endurance, deeper dependence on You, and testimonies that point others to Your faithfulness.
We trust that You are working even now; in the unseen; and we choose to praise You beforehand.

Out of the 'abundance' residue of the heart the mouth speaks.
Public confetti — the applause, the virtue signals, the sparkling performances — is cheap and easy to manufacture. It’s the bright, temporary distraction. But the heart’s residue doesn’t stay hidden forever. In private, the conspiracy emerges: the calculated moves, the quiet alliances, the venom reserved for behind closed doors. That’s what the mouth (or the deeds) eventually spills.

Shake up every system in our lives and in our generation that stands against Your kingdom. Give us courage to stand where others bow, wisdom to speak where others stay silent, and humility to serve where others seek power, in Jesus name.
